Beauty Haul #2: Superdrug, Boots, Lush and Poundland

So my student loan came in a week or so ago and I had a list of items that I wanted to buy. I went a little crazy shopping this week and have two haul posts for you (the next one will be dedicated purely to Primark). This post will deal with Superdrug, Boots, Lush & Poundland! I will probably do reviews on the beauty products after I have used them before but here is the basic outline of what I purchased:

First up is the biggest part of my haul, Superdrug!

As you can see there are some essentials in here, along with some highly recommended beauty products. I got 10% off all of these prices with my NUS Extra card which was a nice little extra!

Sure Clear Aqua - Not much I can say about this, just some nice, fairly neutral smelling deodorant - £3.29
Huggies Baby Wipes - I use these to take of my make-up (before cleansing), and for when I go wrong when I am applying make-up, random little jobs like that! I don't use actual make-up wipes as I find them really drying on my skin (even the Simple and Johnson ones) and these are nice and gentle! - They were on offer at 99p each!
Ibuprofen - Self-explanatory really! - 69p
Samy Fat Hair "0" Calories Thickening Shampoo - I was going for my normal shampoo and noticed that this make was on offer for half price and I remembered Zoella talking about it in one of her videos so I thought I would give it a try! So far I like it, but I'll let you know how it goes once I've used it more! - £2.75
Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover - This has been really hyped up all over the blog-o-sphere but a lot of bloggers also dislike it and so I thought I had better buy it and see for myself. I haven't used it yet, but I will let you guys know how it goes. The only thing I can say so far is that it smells really strong! - £4.99
Cutex Strengthening Nail Polish Remover - I needed some normal remover for my toes and cleaning up around my cuticles (I have serious issues staying "inside the lines" when it comes to painting my nails!) - £1.59
MUA Bronzer in Shade 3 - After my disappointment with the 17 bronzer (review in the works), I figured I may as well try this considering how cheap it is! So far it is a lot better than the 17 one, and is perfectly pigmented for me. There will be a review coming up of this soon. - £1.00
MUA Professional Eyeshadow Pallette in Undressed - This is also a product that has been extremely hyped up in the beauty blog-o-sphere. It is meant to be a dupe of the cult product Urban Decay Naked Pallette. I didn't want to fork out too much for eyeshadows as I don't really use them that much but I thought I would try this to get me into wearing them. - £4.00
MUA Professional Pro-Brow Ultimate Eyebrow Kit - I love this product! I never really got in to filling out eyebrows as I have quite full ones anyway, but there are little gaps and this, along with my 17 Eyebrow Pencil, really make them better. - £3.50
Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in Nude 005 - This I have also seen a lot in blogs and this is to brighten your eyes. - £3.99

Next is Boots - which was quite a quick trip, but I was running out of time before the shops closed!
Tangle Teezer - Another cult product here, and I am in love with it!! My hair is so smooth after and I suffer a lot with my hair falling out all over the place and I have actually noticed that this doesn't happen as much when I use this brush. Makes brushing my hair after a shower so much quicker as well. I was a bit apprehensive about spending so much on a hair brush but I do not regret a single penny! - £10.99
Natural Collection Sheer Natural Lip Colour in Sand Castle - I am trying to get into using products on my lips (other than balms) so I really like this sheer "my lips but better" colour. - £1.99
Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick in Berry Sorbet - This was a bit of a more daring choice, a dark metallic red. - £1.99

I love going in to Lush - it smells gorgeous and the people who work there are always really friendly!
BB Seaweed Face Mask - I have used this before and it is like heaven for my skin! I have really sensitive skin and it gets quite dry in the winter so to find a moisturising face mask that doesn't make me go bright red was lovely! - £5.95
Mask of Magnaminty Face and Back Mask - I thought I would try this as I have a problem with spots on my chest and the back of my neck (lovely I know) and this is for your body as well as your face, I thought why not? - £4.95
Bubblegum Lip Sugar Scrub - As previously mentioned, I wanted to get more in to lip products but with it being winter I have dry, chapped lips so this was to get rid of them. Can't say I would repurchase it though. - £5.25
Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub - This was actually a Secret Santa present (we literally did it on the 27th January, quite late but it was the first time everyone was back together and in one place) but I thought I would put it in here anyway - £7.95

And a couple of random bits from Poundland as well!
Pure Petroleum Jelly - I was after some Vaseline, and I completely forgot about it until I saw this in the store. This is for my eyelashes and under my eyes (I find it does reduce my bags a little bit!). - £1.00
Mayfair Moisturising Hand Lotion developed by Nails Inc - This was my bargain buy! You do only get 50ml, but this retails for £15 for 250ml so you can see there is a big difference in the price! It's also the perfect size for your handbag. - £1.00

So that is all for my beauty haul. The Primark one will be coming shortly. In the mean time, if you have tried out these products let me know how you get on!
